people. today, we have witnessed the fight of one of our fellow 0826-ian. his name is Jian Yu. today, our hearts pumped as one in that hall, fighting the battle together. today, we got together as usual, shouting and screaming for our fellow comrade. today, i can proudly announce that i am part of 0826.
To jian yu: you do not consider a winner by his results. you consider a winner by his attitude. you fought well, and thats what it matters. you will always be a winner, in our hearts.
Know that when 0826 are gathered together, we are an unstoppable force. Jian yu's the hero for today!

Our Mosmospassed his Nafa test for the very first time (and definitely not the last) with the accompaniment of his loving ONE26 running the 2.4km test with him.
One26 reported in school early in the morning, waiting anxiously for the run to start. Meanwhile, we played some lousy-claim-to-be-due-to-wind-badminton and cannot-even-reach-30-continuous-shot-vollyball. Not long later, the event that we were all waiting for had finally arrived. All the training and sharpering of weapons are for this very moment, this very battle. Its now or never!
Mosmos fought hard and so did his loyal army. The journal was tough and long. However, with strong determination and the great support from one26, Mosmos dare not give up and he surprisingly managed to complete his 6 rounds with the timing so fast i thought i was dreaming, 12.34!! That is definitely going into the world record.
Let hear what Mosmos got to say about it. 'thanks everyone for supporting me. Real touched. Tears mixed with sweat was rolling down my cheeks as i ran'.

hey people. this is sam lau once again. this post would be to better explain to u guys the "NEW" SL trip youyu was trying to tell u guys in class. for the benefit of every1, ill explain the story in full again.
the original SL trip was planned to go to sunbeam place. the reason why it was cancelled was because the home was filled with activites for the whole of june. and so now, we have changed our home to the current 1 at eunos.
target group will be different from the previous home. this time, it would be people with mental disabilities. they are people ranged from 14-30 plus of age, but their thinking would be something close to that of a 8-10 year old kid.
jacky, youyu, and me dropped by this afternoon and took a look at the place. the one "problem" that u all may face would be that they are very friendly, and they like to have close contact with you e.g holding ur arm or hand. further information on how to interact with them would be passed around to u guys later.
now on to the main activity. we have came up with 4 possible tasks to do at the home. first, would be the idea of movie/skit again. this time, the people of the home have asked us personally to come up with the theme of theft, as they said there are cases of theft within the home. therefore, the storyline would once again be somehow covered by me.
2nd activity, we have suggested, and waiting from approval from them, to actually paint on one of the walls of the home. this wall is part of a room of a library/recreational room/movie screening room. they are still asking for permission for us to paint the room, so any plans on this would be tentative. however, if u guys have any inspiration, and want to try ur hand at art, can send youyu or me the art design of the wall. (we have 2 walls to paint)
3rd activity would be relatively dry. we will be cleaning the staircase that they will be using, and also one of their storerooms. this 1 wouldnt need much explanation. just hard manual labour.
the last activity would be gardening. the home have a roof-top garden, and they have suggested to us to help them to brighten up the area. the pictures below show the condition of the garden.
as u can see, its filled with weeds and very little flowers. very dull. we are given 2 of those "circular plots of land" to plant flowers and stuff. therefore, any interested people who wanna join me (again) in picking up an "old man/old woman" hobby called gardening, can once again tell me. we will be going for lessons taught by no other master besides youyu's grandpa.
and so, those were the rough details of the new SL trip. further details will be revealed.

good news good news good news! ah but i came back from training too late, it may not even be news anymore. but who cares. NYJC VOLLEYBALL BOYS ARE INTO THE FINALS! WHOO!!!
good job jian jian! and all the other volleyballers as well. man it was worth cheering ur voice hoarse for them. and it was great looking at them making a comeback after hearing us cheer.
Lets all go on monday to support them again! go jianyu and NY volleyball!
